Participants registering within h. 24:00 of Friday 06 September 2024, will receive bike front plate personalized with their name, PICA code for photos and QR Code with health information if communicated by Participant to Organizer at the time of registration.
TIRAMISU TASTE EVENT
This is the most popular and well-known Italian dessert in the world. A local tradition says that Tiramisù was supposedly invented by an ingenious 'maitresse' of a pleasure house located in the historic centre of Treviso.
The landlady would have prepared this aphrodisiac and invigorating dessert, to be offered to her customers at the end of the evenings, in order to invigorate them. The recipe is said to derive from 'sbatudin', a mixture of egg yolk beaten with sugar, commonly used by country families of Treviso Territory as a restorative or for newly-weds. Mascarpone, coffee and cocoa was then added to this dessert. 'Tiramisù Taste Event' is a great showcase for this famous dessert.
Once they have crossed the finish line in Valdobbiadene, Participants in Prosecco Cycling will be able to move to nearby Villa dei Cedri for a tasting session, extended to their companions, of the popular spoon dessert always served with Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. Visitors not having the free voucher provided to participants in technical box, and any companion, will be able to take advantage of the service by paying the fee of only €5.
